P.S. I would agree with you also about Unreal Samurai, but it has massive lag issues for 360 and PS3, unless you play yocals or host the game (which means every other poor sap has lag issues).
Nobody ever mentions this about Epic games.....but from Xbox 1's version of Unreal suffering the same issues, through to Gears on 360 and Unreal on all.....LAG is the archilles heel of Epic.
I agree totally samurai....Killzone 2 was easily a superior game in all areas to Halo 3 and ODST in my opinion...the graphics are still some of the best (along with Unchartered 2), and the game played different to most other shooters (as in the weighty feel of character movement - which also was a love it or hate it type thing.
This Killzone 3 footage though, just buries KZ2, and every other console shooter out there....even Crysis 2 is going to struggle graphics and perfo...
but we also have to wait for an eternity for the games release....thankfully I am more a fan of games like Burnout, Motorstorm....and the latter has mindblowing graphics (especially considering MS was a launch title and still has some of the best racer graphics going around).
GT may look the ducks nutz, but it will have to evolved in more than just graphics to really justify the HUUUUUUGE wait for fans of the series, as otherwise people will be just wishing they bought a 36...
I found the game to be rather awesome in all facets Georama....Each to there own I suppose, but by all media I have read thus far that have played the game, they are all super impressed by how great the game is. So mediocrity certainly cannot be attached to this title....I have played plenty of mediocre games, and judging by what I played in the demo, this is far from one of those. thats what people said about Dantes Inferno, and it ended up falling waaaay short of GOW3's quality. Kojami (wrong spelling) of MGS fame has been helping the developers with this, so theres a chance it may be great (and I hope it is)..... I just hope it doesn't try to replicate GOW too much, as this is where Dante fell down and lost it's originality.
Biggest sin they made with Resistance 2 in multiplayer was removing the option for ONE SHOT KILLS. The one shot kill carbon weapon games were, and still are the most fun online shooting you can have on a console...I kept and still play the 1st game for this reason.
As a whole, they changed up the graphical style TOO much, and it looked cheap and kiddie, whereas the 1st looked gritty and real. And the 1st games single player was much better, longer and fun, due to it'...

They also lost Bizarre Creations (PGR series), the Ninja Gaiden series, Starbreeze (of Riddick fame)....They have lost some major developers that were a big reason the Xbox 1 had a half decent 1st go.

@ remanutd55.....loved Medievil to death man...was one of my fave PS1 games, and fave games of all time. And yes, also loved Extermination...funny you mentioned it actually, as I saw it at my EB store yesterday for $4 Australian, and almost bought it due to the fact I gave up on the end boss and didn't finish it...sad I know...
